Overview

The WSS to WGV Synchronization program is a Windows 98/NT program that provides automatic synchronization of WGV system to master schedules on Medar WSS. 

 

When an operator considers that a Medar weld control has a correct program and data programmed into it. The operator used the Medar XWss program and uploads the current program and data files from the Medar Welder to the XWss Master directory. A monitor program on the WSS computer monitors for these programs uploads from the Medar Weld controls to the XWss Master directory and sends a copy of the information to the WGV Server. The information for the WGV data record is updated and a new Weld Tool Information Sheet (WTIS) is printed.

System Requirements

 

WSS to WGV Synchronization program is a 32-bit Windows application that requires the following:

An Intel Pentium® processor with a minimum of 16 Mbytes of memory’
At least 150 Mbytes of free hard disk space
Microsoft Windows 95TM (with Service Pack I installed), Windows 98TM, or Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 3, or higher)
Network card and local area network
Windows-compatible printer (local or networked)
Networking client
Medar WSS Unix Enhancements software
